The company was incorporated in 18^th May, 2000 as a public limited company listed in both Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC and Chittagong Stock Exchange PLC under the Company Act, 1994. The company is regulated by the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA).

Our company has achieved rating ‘AA+’ in the long term and rating ‘ST-1’ in the short term, signifies a very strong capacity to meet its financial obligations and a low risk of default, rated by Alpha Credit Rating Limited (Alpha Rating).

Republic Insurance provides hassle-free risk coverage offering different types of insurance policies like Marine Cargo, Motor, Fire, Aviation and others for a diverse portfolio of clients including individuals, businesses, and industrial entities nationwide who have made RICL as their trusted insurance provider.

For the year ended December 31, 2024, the company's paid-up capital is BDT 52.10 crore. The company earned gross and net premium income BDT 88.76 crore and BDT 53.34 crore respectively. The total asset amounts to BDT 176.88 crore with an up-ward trend at 6.88%. A cash dividend of 6% and 5% stock dividend was distributed to valued shareholders. We have Re-insurance Treaty Agreement with the Sadharan Bima Corporation with favorable terms and conditions including Facultative Arrangement. Hence, we are capable enough to accept risk and underwrite general insurance business for any amount.
